Mortar: For joining masonry

2. Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC)

PPC is prepared by grinding pozzolanic clinker with Portland cement.

3. Low Heat Cement

Many cement manufacturers also manufacture low-heat cement which is prepared by keeping the percentage of tricalcium aluminate below 6% and by increasing the proportion of C2S. Low-heat cement is used in the building of mass concrete constructions like dams. However, it is essential to know that as compared to OPC it is less reactive and the initial setting time is greater than OPC.

4. Sulfates Resisting Cement

SRC is a type of cement used to resist sulfate attacks and it has a lower percentage of Tricalcium aluminate. This type of cement is most commonly used for constructions that come in contact with soil or groundwater having more than 0.2% or 0.3% g/l sulfate salts respectively.

5. Quick Setting Cement

Cement manufacturers in Pakistan also offer quick-setting cement which has a faster setting time than OPC but the strength remains the same. Quick-setting cement is used in construction projects when a faster setting time is needed such as underwater structures and construction in cold and rainy weather conditions. 

6. White Cement

White cement is manufactured using raw materials that are free from iron and oxide this type of cement has a higher proportion of lime and clay. White cement is fairly similar to OPC but has a higher price point.
